Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our site! Hopefully this means you’ve stopped by our little farmstand and enjoyed some of our freshly laid eggs from our beloved ladies. We take pride in raising our hens with care and offering you food that’s as fresh and local as it gets.
What started as a simple love for chickens and gardening has grown into something we’re excited to share with our community. On our ¾-acre suburban homestead, you’ll find many happy hens roaming about and raised-bed gardens tucked into every bit of sunshine we can find.
Backyard chickens have always been part of my story—I grew up collecting eggs from our family’s flock, and when we had our daughter, it felt only natural to start again. It’s a fun way to teach responsibility, care, and the rewards of hard work, while also bringing us together as a family.
We never planned to expand or sell eggs until Covid hit. In that difficult time, we were able to share what we had with neighbors and others in need, and that experience planted the seeds for something bigger. It reminded us how simple acts—like handing over a dozen eggs—can help foster community, kindness, and a sense of service.
Our name, Poles Poultry & Produce, reflects not only what we do, but who we are. The three P’s stand for our family of three—Mom, Dad, and daughter. Our logo, three P’s inside a heart with hands holding a chicken, symbolizes the love, care, and sense of community at the heart of everything we do.
Our ladies now gift us with fresh eggs daily, and our gardens provide a rotation of seasonal produce—all grown with care, hard work, and a whole lot of love. What we offer isn’t fancy or large-scale; it’s the honest result of backyard mornings, muddy boots, and the joy of watching something grow. For us, farming isn’t just about food—it’s about community, connection, and living close to nature.
We hope when you stop by our stand, you feel that sense of connection—to good food, to the animals and earth that provide it, and to the people who care deeply about both. Whether you’re here for a dozen eggs, some veggies, or a seedling or two for your own garden, we’re grateful you’re part of our story.
